A black tie, art deco wedding in the heart of New Year City, this extended cocktail party featured a black and gold color palette, tall dramatic spray arrangements, and a hanging chuppah made of enormous monstera and palm leaves for the cultural ceremony. Guests entered onto a red carpet and had their photo taken in front of a palm leaf photo backdrop before being serenaded by a tabla and sitar player. Other entertainment included a spoken word poet, a band, and a DJ. The custom marquee featuring the couple’s names lit up as the sun set, and the window box posters and gobo light showcased their personalized family crest. Guests left with a mini tree to plant in their homes as a memory of the night.
