At Ruffles & Tweed, we are inspired by great design and find joy in the little details. More importantly, we LOVE weddings. We are an event planning and design company with a strong focus on custom weddings and special events.


When you work with our team of full-service planners and designers, you’re covered. From your initial vision, to venue and vendor selection, to budget and timeline development, to design execution and more, we handle it all. We pride ourselves on the relationships we share with some of the best vendors in the industry, and we are committed to finding you the perfect team for your day.


We offer full and partial planning and design, as well as month-of coordination services. Each of our events is different since every client is unique. Therefore, after we learn about the scope of your event, along with your needs and wishes, we will develop a completely custom package tailored exclusively to suit your personality and desires.


We are based in New York City and provide services in the surrounding areas, including Long Island, Westchester, Connecticut, and New Jersey. We also are available to travel around the globe to ensure your day is a special one you’ll remember for the rest of your lives.

Owner and Lead Planner/Designer

While I was working in advertising I started assisting other planners on the side, and quickly realized event planning was what I was meant to do. Two years later, I was offered the life-changing opportunity to become the exclusive Planner/Designer for Island Farm on Elihu Island, and from there, Ruffles & Tweed was born. I ran the business for three years while still working in advertising, and in 2013, I made the transition to run Ruffles & Tweed full time and haven’t looked back since.


Today, I help clients with all of their planning and design needs, while fusing their individual personalities into their event, ensuring their wedding day is unique and unforgettable. I love getting to know my clients on a deeper level and feel lucky to call many of them life-long friends even after their special day.


Many of my weddings have been published on Style Me Pretty, Martha Stewart Weddings, Bliss Celebrations Guide, and Carats & Cake, and I am a preferred vendor at Wave Hill, Buttermilk Falls Inn & Spa, Red Maple Vineyard, and Frankies 457 Spuntino. Additionally, I am the Networking Coordinator for the Association of Bridal Consultants in Manhattan and The Bronx, and a proud member of the Community of Wedding Innovators.

In my spare time, I enjoy helping aspiring planners find their way, shopping, taking pictures, traveling, trying out new recipes, exercising and filming workouts for Daily Burn, and especially spending time with my two young daughters.
